Delete Your Account

You can delete your PanPal account and associated data at any time, directly from the app. This page explains how, and exactly what is deleted or kept when you do.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open PanPal and make sure you're signed in.
- Go to your Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are deleted right away, and you'll be signed out.
If you can't access the app
If you're unable to sign in or use the app, you can request deletion by emailing us at etheriesolutions@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove the following, without the ability to recover it:
- Account information — your login (email and any Apple or Google sign-in identifier) and basic profile.
- Preferences & personalization — cooking effort, household size, diet, cuisines, spice level, recipe detail, meal style, and ingredients you've chosen to avoid.
- Pantry, recipes & activity — saved pantry ingredients, generated and saved recipes, reviews, notes and ratings, and your cooking history and streaks.
- Photos — any meal or ingredient photos you uploaded.
- Messages — your conversations with the PanPal assistant that are stored with your recipes. (Voice input is converted to text on the fly and is not stored as a recording.)
What we keep, and for how long
- Encrypted backups. Residual copies of your data may remain in routine, secured backups for a short time after deletion and are purged within 30 days.
- Anonymous diagnostics. Aggregated, de-identified crash and usage analytics that are not linked to your identity may be retained to keep the app reliable.
- Records required by law. Limited information we are legally required to keep (for example, to meet tax, security, or fraud-prevention obligations) is retained only for as long as the law requires, then deleted.
